KEVIN RODRIGUEZ

I discovered yoga during my junior year at UNC-Chapel Hill. At the time, I was quite burnt out. A friend recommended a yoga class to decompress. With some fitness experience and flexibility, I thought yoga would just be some easy stretching with confusing yogic names. After leaving my first class, I realized it was so much more than that. I was left with a sense of peace and calmness, a great workout, and a thirst for more yoga in my life.

Over time, I began to incorporate yoga into my weekly routine and looked forward to every class (or at least how I would feel after class). I wanted to continue growing in my practice and sharing yoga with others. In June 2020, I completed my 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training at Franklin St. Yoga Center with Lori Burgwyn Hernandez.

With me, you can expect a lighthearted and accepting environment where I will help you to achieve your goals in yoga. I mainly teach to beginners but always provide variations and options for more advanced yogis. I teach Vinyasa-based classes. I seek to help you grow in your own individual yoga practice, and my hope is that you step off your mat feeling refreshed, proud, and ready to take on life off the mat.
